Kazakh tennis player, the 60th in the world rankings, Alexander Shevchenko confidently advanced to the second round of the clay tournament of the "Masters" series in Rome, Italy.

Alexander Shevchenko progressed to the second round of the ATP1000 tournament in Rome, defeating Fabian Marozhan (36) in two sets with a score of 6:3, 6:2.

The match between Shevchenko and Marozhan lasted 1 hour and 12 minutes. During the match, Shevchenko served two aces, made no double faults, and converted four out of seven break points earned. On the other hand, Marozhan did not serve any aces, committed two double faults, and failed to convert any break points.

In the next round, Alexander Shevchenko will face Karen Khachanov (18).
