Representative of the Kazakhstan judo team Galia Tynbayeva won the gold medal at the Grand Slam international tournament in Astana on May 10.
According to the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the final match for the first place, she competed against Sabina Gilyazova from Russia.
The Kazakh athlete earned one point first and then secured an "ippon" victory, winning prematurely. It is worth noting that Galia Tynbayeva represented her country in the under 48-kilogram weight category.
Earlier, it was reported that two Kazakh judokas, Darhan Koibagar and Abylai Khan Zhubanazar, also secured medals at the Grand Slam tournament in Dushanbe.
