The Kazakhstan national team in sokker reached the final of the Socca EuroCup 2024, which took place on May 12 in Chisinau, by defeating the team from Croatia with a score of 3:0.
In the first half, the Kazakh players scored twice - Abay Elemesov (2nd minute) and Bekruz Pishkar (15th minute). In the second half of the match, Talgat Utepbergenov secured a significant score in the 39th minute.
Thus, the Kazakhstan national sokker team won the title of European champions for the second year in a row. Last year, Kazakhstan defeated Romania in the tournament final.
The federation announced that this year our team achieved seven victories on the way to the final:
- Kazakhstan 3:0 Oman;
- Kazakhstan 1:1 Germany (2:1 on penalties);
- Kazakhstan 2:1 Spain;
- Kazakhstan 9:2 Belgium;
- Kazakhstan 3:2 Oman;
- Kazakhstan 5:1 Cyprus;
- Kazakhstan 3:0 Italy.
Sokker is a variation of indoor soccer, distinguished by the number of players and the size of the field. Matches are played with six players on each team, with two halves of 20 minutes.
