Kazakhstan Grand Prix of MotoGP Rescheduled for September 2024 amid Delays

in Sport / Kazakhstan - by

The first-ever Kazakhstan Grand Prix of MotoGP, which was postponed twice for various reasons, is now scheduled to take place in September 2024.

The Kazakhstan Grand Prix is close to making a return to the global MotoGP calendar this year, according to Autosport. This comes after the September MotoGP stage in India was at risk of being canceled. The Indian side is reportedly unable to pay the fee for hosting the world's top motorcycle racers on their track.

The stage, originally planned for September 20-22, is set to be held near Almaty.

It is known that the first-ever MotoGP Grand Prix in our country was supposed to take place in 2023. However, the race was canceled back then due to the unpreparedness of our track.

In early May 2024, the global stage was postponed to a later date due to floods in Central Asia.
