In Chonburi, Thailand, the Women's Asia Cup for indoor field hockey is currently taking place. As of now, the Kazakhstan national team has secured two victories in their first two games.
On the first day of the competition, on May 13, the Kazakhstani women defeated the Vietnamese team with a score of 28-0. A day later, they outplayed the Malaysian team with a score of 5-1.
With these two wins, the Kazakhstan team has taken the lead in Group A. A total of 10 teams have gathered to compete in the Asia Cup 2024. The Women's Asia Cup is set to conclude on May 16.

In a few hours, Galyim Mambetaliyev's team will face a crucial match against Latvia, the bronze medalists of the previous world championship.
