The women's team of Kazakhstan in field hockey will play in the semi-finals of the Asia Cup indoors. On May 15, our girls secured their fourth consecutive victory in this tournament, which is taking place in Chonburi, Thailand.
After defeating the teams of Malaysia (5:1) and Vietnam (28:0) at the start of the competition, the Kazakhstani women went on to outplay the teams of Oman (8:0) and Iran (5:1), according to the press service of the Asian Hockey Federation. Four consecutive victories allowed our team to take the first place in Group A.
Now, we are set for a match to secure a spot in the final of the Asia Cup 2024, where we will face the Indonesian hockey team on the evening of May 15. The final of the competition is scheduled for May 16.
