Kazakh gymnast Milad Karimi has become the champion of Asia in artistic gymnastics in Tashkent.
The National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan stated that Milad Karimi successfully performed in the final of the parallel bars exercise, receiving a score of 15.033 from the judges.
The second place was taken by Chinese athlete Hao Tian with a score of 14.300, while the bronze medal went to Jiaolei Liao from China with a score of 13.800.
"In Tashkent, Karimi has won three medals. He also secured the second place in the all-around and in the floor exercises. Nariman Kurbanov claimed the top spot in the pommel horse exercise," the statement read.
On May 16, Milad Karimi made history for Kazakhstan by winning a silver medal in the all-around competition.
