The Kazakhstan national ice hockey team played their final match of the group stage of the World Championship against the team of Poland on May 21.
In the first period, the opponents opened the scoring on the power play, but soon Nikita Mikhailis equalized for Kazakhstan. In the third period, Valeriy Orekhov scored the second goal for our team, and Roman Starchenko sealed the victory with another goal. The final score was 3:1, securing Kazakhstan's place in the top division of the World Championship.
