Kazakhstani Tennis Duo Nedovyesov and Escobar Impresses at Geneva ATP-250

In Geneva, Switzerland, the ATP-250 tournament on clay is currently taking place. Kazakhstani tennis player Alexander Nedovyesov teamed up with Gonzalo Escobar from Ecuador for the quarterfinal match.

Competing for a spot in the semifinals, Nedovyesov and Escobar faced off against the duo playing under the first seed in Geneva - Hugo Nys from Monaco and Jan Zielinski from Poland. The match concluded with a score of 6:7, 6:1, 12:14 after 1 hour and 47 minutes of play.

During the game, the Kazakhstani-Ecuadorian pair served three aces, committed five double faults, and converted three out of seven break points.

Another Kazakhstani tennis player, Alexander Shevchenko, is also competing in the Geneva tournament. On May 23, he will play a quarterfinal match against Italian player Flavio Cobolli (ATP 56).

Prior to this match, Nedovyesov and Escobar secured a victory against the American duo Jackson Withrow and Nathaniel Lammons with a score of 6:4, 3:6, 10:3.
