Anna Danilina, Kazakhstan's top-ranked tennis player in doubles, along with her partner Xu Yifan from China, has advanced to the final of the WTA-250 tournament in Rabat, Morocco.
In the semifinals, Anna and Xu secured a victory over the Japanese pair of Eri Hozumi and Makoto Ninomiya in two sets with scores of 6:4, 6:4.
On May 24th, in the title match, Danilina and Xu will face the fourth-seeded team in the competition, the Russian duo of Yana Sizikova and Irina Khromacheva.
Prior to that, in the quarterfinals, Anna and Xu achieved a comeback victory against the British-Chinese duo of Harriet Dart and Su-Wei with a score of 0:6, 6:3, 10:7.
