Kazakhstani figure skater Dias Zhirenbayev has won the gold medal at the Coupe du Printemps international figure skating tournament in Luxembourg. Zhirenbayev received a total score of 211.76 points, securing the top spot in the competition.
The silver medal was awarded to French skater Corentin Spinaru with a score of 190.50, while the bronze went to Spanish skater Pablo Garcia with a score of 178.38. A total of 115 skaters from 23 countries participated in the event, showcasing their skills and talent on the ice.
This victory adds to the recent success of Kazakhstani figure skaters, as earlier in February, another Kazakhstani skater, Mikhail Shaidorov, claimed the gold medal at a tournament in the Netherlands. The achievements of Zhirenbayev and Shaidorov highlight the growing prominence of Kazakhstani athletes in the international figure skating scene, bringing pride and recognition to their country on the global stage.
