The city of Osh is planning to construct a new sanitary landfill and reclaim an old dumpsite with financing from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), as announced by the city mayor's office.
According to the statement, the project is part of the "Improvement of Solid Waste Management System in the city of Osh."
Tender processes are currently underway, and construction will commence upon their completion, the announcement stated.
The mayor's office highlighted that the progress of the project was reviewed today by Deputy Minister of Finance Ruslan Tatikov.
