On April 25th, the hokim of the Tashkent region, Zoyir Mirzaev, presented 300 million soums to School No. 17 in Angren, which has implemented the initiative "School without a Phone". This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.
It was noted in the announcement that in this educational institution, phones have not been used for 50 days already. The award was presented to the school's director, Zebo Makhkamova.
It is worth recalling that in February, Zoyir Mirzaev suggested that educational institutions in the region adopt such an initiative. The hokim stated that with the agreement of parents, students, and teachers, it is necessary to prohibit the use of phones on the school premises. Schools that implement this initiative were promised 300 million soums by the hokim.
On March 6th, the "School without a Phone" system was introduced in Schools No. 13 and 17 in the city of Angren, Tashkent region.
