Uzbekistan Medical Workers Receive Aviation Training in Belarus for International Standards

From April 15 to 22, a group of medical workers and rescuers from Uzbekistan airports underwent training in aviation medicine and emergency and search and rescue operations in Belarus in accordance with the international requirements of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), as reported by the press service of Uzbekistan Airports.

The training took place at the International Training Center for the training and retraining of rescuers-firefighters of the University of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus.

Twenty-one employees from Uzbekistan airports, including heads of medical units and chiefs of rescue teams, received training in areas such as basics of aviation medicine, provision of first aid, basics of psychology, physiology, and sanitary well-being in civil aviation conditions.

Comprehensive exercises were organized for the colleagues from Uzbekistan at the training ground, field sessions at the simulation medical center, visits to medical units and search and rescue teams at the National Airport of Minsk, field sessions at the State Aviation Emergency Rescue Institution "Aviation" of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus.

Furthermore, colleagues from Uzbekistan and Belarus exchanged experiences on various professional matters and planted trees as a symbol of friendship between the two countries.
