In the aftermath of a mass brawl involving foreigners seeking medical assistance, 41 injured individuals have sought help. This information was reported by the republican headquarters citing the Ministry of Health.

It is noted that 11 of the injured are currently receiving inpatient treatment.

At the City Hospital of Emergency Medical Care, two patients are being treated. One has a closed head injury, while the other has a fractured femur. The patients' conditions are described as stable.

In the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery at the National Hospital, one injured individual continues to receive treatment. Their condition is relatively satisfactory.

Authorities added that on May 19, eight more foreigners sought medical assistance and were hospitalized at the International Medical University clinic. The Minister of Health, Alymkadyr Beyshenaliev, visited them the day before. Two of them were diagnosed with a nasal fracture, while the others had closed head injuries, bruises, and abrasions. All of them are under medical observation, and their conditions are relatively satisfactory. The Minister emphasized that providing qualified medical assistance to the injured is under his personal control.

"On the instructions of President Sadyr Japarov, all expenses for the treatment and provision of necessary medications to the injured will be free of charge," stated Alymkadyr Beyshenaliev.

It is worth noting that the spontaneous protest against foreigners, which began on the evening of May 17 in Bishkek, only ended in the early hours of May 18. The police managed to negotiate with the participants of the rally, and they opened Chui Avenue, dispersing shortly after. According to the Ministry of Health, 29 people were injured during the protests.

Regarding the brawl on May 13 at a hostel, which was one of the reasons for the protests, law enforcement officers detained four Egyptian citizens. A criminal case has been initiated under the article "Hooliganism" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
