Kazakhstan has ratified the Protocol on the common principles and rules for the circulation of medical devices within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The Head of State signed the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the ratification of the Protocol amending the Agreement on the common principles and rules for the circulation of medical devices within the EAEU on December 23, 2014.
During the plenary session of the Senate of the Parliament of Kazakhstan on January 26, deputies approved amendments to two ratification agreements regarding the circulation of medical devices within the EAEU. The proposals outlined in the protocol were discussed at working groups at the level of experts from the five EAEU member states, further reviewed and endorsed by the collegium and council of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
