Government Assistance to Large Families Increased by 7% in Kazakhstan in 2024

Since the beginning of 2024, an average of 574,500 families have received government assistance for large families, totaling 77.1 billion tenge. In February, 577,300 families received this benefit, amounting to 39 billion tenge.

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, families with four or more underage children or full-time students under the age of 23, regardless of their income, are eligible for this state aid.

The Ministry of Labor highlighted that starting from January 1, 2024, all government social benefits for families with children have been increased by 7%. A total of 474.8 billion tenge has been allocated this year for the payment of government assistance to large families.

The press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan stated that in January 2024, an average of 571,600 families received government assistance for large families, totaling 38.1 billion tenge.
