Kazakhstan Attracts Foreign Companies for Relocation, Vice Minister Reveals Progress

Vice Minister of National Economy Bauyrzhan Kudaybergenov disclosed during a government press conference on March 5 the number of foreign companies planning to relocate their production base to Kazakhstan. The government is currently working on relocating large foreign enterprises, with a list of around 400 companies from over 30 countries.

Kudaybergenov stated that progress has been made with 41 companies, valued at over $1.5 billion, including well-known names like inDrive and TikTok. Additionally, work is ongoing with 37 other companies, the details of which are yet to be disclosed.

The Vice Minister emphasized that the goal is to complete this work by the end of the year, with individualized approaches for each company based on their specific needs. Requests range from land allocation to incentives and benefits, with sector-specific government bodies and committees overseeing the process.
