New Regulations on Export of Oil Products in Kazakhstan

A joint order dated March 11, 2024, has been issued by the Ministry of Energy, National Security Committee, Ministry of Finance, and Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding the export of oil products from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The order, effective from March 29, 2024, outlines exceptions including lubricants, specific types of oil products for humanitarian aid, and aviation fuel for research purposes.

The order specifies conditions for the export of aviation fuel for research, production technology approval, and the quantities allowed for such purposes. This decision follows a meeting of the interdepartmental commission on foreign trade policy and participation in international economic organizations chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin.

These new regulations aim to streamline and regulate the export of oil products from Kazakhstan, ensuring compliance with international standards and optimizing the process for stakeholders involved in the industry.
