Positive Financial Results and Dividend Policies of Companies on KASE in 2023

Six out of 10 companies on the KASE representative list have published their financial results for 2023 with positive indicators, potentially affecting their dividend policies. For instance, the net profit of the national atomic company "Kazatomprom" increased by 23% compared to 2022. Analysts forecast dividend payments not less than 1188 tenge per share for 2023.

Meanwhile, "Kcell" reported financial results for the fourth quarter and January-December 2023. Although net profit decreased by 18.5%, attributed to significant capital investments, service revenue saw a 9.6% increase. On the other hand, "Narodny Bank" reported a 21.8% rise in net profit for the previous year due to substantial growth in credit and transaction businesses.

In terms of stock performance, companies like "Kazatomprom," "Kaspi.kz," "Kcell," and "KEGOC" drove the domestic market upwards. Notably, the inclusion of Air Astana's stocks in the KASE representative list after its IPO in February impacted trading. Additionally, the Bank CenterCredit and Narodny Bank experienced fluctuations in their stock prices.

Despite market volatility, the KASE index showed resilience, fluctuating throughout the week but ultimately closing on a positive note. Overall, the financial results and stock performance of companies on KASE in 2023 indicate a promising outlook for investors and stakeholders.
