In Beijing, the Kazakhstan Tourism Year in China was inaugurated with a Kazakhstan-China tourism and investment forum. The event discussed organized tourism for Chinese travelers and investment opportunities between Kazakhstan and China. An exhibition was also organized for forum participants, showcasing the attractions of all regions of Kazakhstan. At the end of the first day, the pavilion representing Astana was recognized as the best among 20 regions of Kazakhstan and was awarded the Grand Prix for the best demonstration of tourist potential.
