Almaty Launches Pilot Project for Express Cargo Declaration in "Keden" System

in Economy / Kazakhstan - by

Starting from April 2 to June 30, 2024, a pilot project for declaring express cargoes in the "Keden" information system has been launched at the "Zhetysu" customs post in Almaty.

The project aims to streamline the activities of the state body, automate the process of submitting customs declarations for express cargoes, improve and reduce document flow, as well as optimize business processes, according to the Committee of State Revenues.

During the trial project, customs representatives fill out passenger customs declarations for express cargoes and declarations for goods for express cargoes in the "Keden" system. Authorized officials of the revenue authorities receive and process the declarations.

Customs representatives can still submit documents in paper form that are mandatory attachments to the express cargo declaration.

Participants in the pilot project must use the budget classification code 106119 in the "Keden" system for the release and payment of customs duties and taxes for goods declarations related to express cargoes. The full amount of customs duties must be paid.

To operate in the "Keden" system, a digital signature issued by the National Certification Authority is required, and the information system is accessible via a provided link.

The State Revenue Committee noted that upon successful completion, this project will be implemented in all customs posts across the country.
