The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection in Kazakhstan has announced that over 943,000 people will be employed as part of the regional employment maps implementation in 2024. This initiative includes subsidized jobs and vacancies provided to employers through state projects and the president's "100 new jobs for every 10,000 people" initiative.

Within these projects, 69,000 Kazakhs will be employed, 193,800 on subsidized jobs (including 9,000 grants), 318,100 on vacant positions, 341,300 through the president's initiative, 5,800 through favorable microcredit for youth at 2.5% annual interest, and 15,200 through the "Aul amanaty" project.

To inform the population about the created job opportunities and ensure transparency in the employment process, a special functionality has been launched on the electronic job exchange. Information about vacancies (across projects, permanent, and temporary positions) is available to the unemployed registered with employment agencies and job seekers conducting independent job searches.

The Ministry conducts employment monitoring based on data from the Ministry of Labor's information systems, verifying their accuracy through labor contract registration, pension contributions, and social deductions. As of March 1, 2024, approximately 143,700 people have been employed, with around 65,000 in permanent positions.

Additionally, the Ministry has prepared changes to the Rules for providing the "Ata Zholy" card for ethnic Kazakhs residing abroad. This initiative aims to support the employment and welfare of Kazakh diaspora members.
