Ministry of Energy Sets New Fuel Prices for Foreigners in Kazakhstan

Head of the Ministry of Energy, Almasadam Satkaliev, has signed an order establishing new prices for gasoline and diesel fuel for foreign citizens.

The document sets maximum prices for the retail sale of petroleum products through stationary gas stations:

  • For AI-80 gasoline - 89 tenge per liter;
  • For AI-92 and AI-93 gasoline - 245 tenge per liter;
  • For diesel fuel (summer, off-season) - 315 tenge per liter.

The price for AI-92 and AI-93 will remain at the level of 205 tenge if:

  • A driver's license issued in Kazakhstan is presented, up to 100 liters per day;
  • A driver's license and vehicle registration certificate for motorcycles, cars, trucks, special, specialized vehicles, and buses issued in Kazakhstan are presented, up to 300 liters per day.

The order will enter into force ten calendar days after the day of its first official publication (May 17).

It was announced in April that the prices for gasoline and diesel fuel for foreigners would change.
