China, India, Turkey, and Uzbekistan are the main countries from where these foreign workers come to Kazakhstan for employment.
It is noted that annually, a quota is established and allocated for attracting foreign specialists to the country. In 2024, the total quota is set at 0.23% of the workforce in the country, amounting to 22,000 individuals. This regulation aims to regulate and manage the influx of foreign labor in Kazakhstan.
