The flood situation has stabilized in the Eastern Kazakhstan region. The Ministry of Emergency Situations (МЧС) notes that thanks to round-the-clock preventive efforts, water has been drained from all flooded areas around homes. A total of 370 sandbags have been laid, 1335 tons of inert materials have been spread, and 27,800 cubic meters of water have been pumped out using motor pumps. Overall, the rivers in the region have not exceeded critical levels.

In the Atyrau region, efforts to strengthen riverbanks continue. Over the past five days, water has been drained and pumped out from 176 houses in the town of Kulsary. Operations are ongoing to pump out water from the remaining 180 flooded houses around the clock, utilizing motor pumps and powerful mobile pumping stations.

In the city of Petropavlovsk and the Kyzylzhar district of the North Kazakhstan region, water drainage from flooded areas is still underway.

Throughout the republic, water has been drained and pumped out from 8378 residential buildings and 2994 courtyard areas. A total of 48,750 people have returned to their homes.

A combined effort of 14,251 personnel and 1428 pieces of equipment, including 239 water pumping devices, 75 boats, and 4 aircraft, are involved in emergency rescue and anti-flooding operations.
