In the Kyrgyz State Order of Lenin Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after Abdylas Maldybaev, a gala concert of students from the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography took place. The theater reported about this event.
The students of the academy presented choreography from classical, contemporary, and national repertoire, including a fragment from the ballet "Konek-Gorbunok", an adagio from the ballet "The Romance of the Rose and the Butterfly", variations from the ballets "Le Corsaire", "The Talisman", a choreographic number "Aqbay", "Zholbarys Zhurek", and other performances.
"Having young Kazakh talents perform on the big stage, where famous figures of Kyrgyz ballet art work, is a great honor for us," said the rector of the Kazakh National Academy of Choreography, Bibigul Nusipzhanova.
She expressed her gratitude to the representatives of culture from both countries for their assistance in organizing and conducting the concert.
The Kazakh National Academy of Choreography is the first educational institution in Central Asia with a full-cycle multi-level educational program in the field of choreographic art.
