Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov urged the international community to halt the military actions in Gaza during the opening of a photo exhibition celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He congratulated veterans and diplomatic service employees, highlighting the significant figures who have shaped Kyrgyz diplomacy over the years.

Baisalov addressed the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, condemning the systematic destruction of the population where 13,000 children and 165 UN staff members, along with 95 journalists, have lost their lives. He emphasized the deliberate nature of these killings and the urgency of the situation.

Furthermore, he reiterated Kyrgyzstan's stance against terrorism and its condemnation of attacks on civilians in Israel. While recognizing Israel's right to self-defense, he emphasized that no government should act above international law and the United Nations.

Baisalov concluded by calling on the international community and the United States to put an end to the ongoing tragedy and genocide in Gaza, urging for a resolution to the conflict.
