The Chairman of the National Security Committee, Kamchybek Tashiev, visited a Border Guard unit of the State Committee for National Security (GKNB) to inspect their new military equipment. According to the special service's press center, Tashiev was briefed by the First Deputy Chairman and Director of the Border Guard Service, Ularbek Sharsheev, who reported that funds from the national budget had been allocated for the purchase of rear-area assets and specialized equipment for the border agency.
Considering the ongoing efforts to equip Border Guard units, the acquired military equipment will be directed to the border protection units. Tashiev also highlighted that the country's leadership and the agency are providing all necessary conditions for the successful fulfillment of the Border Guard Service's combat missions.
