The Central Election Commission has approved the budget for the preparation and conduct of by-elections for a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh in the Osh single-mandate electoral district No. 7. The allocated amount for these purposes is 10,714,000 soms. This decision was announced by the CEC.

President Sadyr Japarov signed a decree on the appointment of by-elections for a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Osh single-mandate electoral district No. 7. The deputy's seat became vacant after Aybek Osmonov resigned from his position. The elections are scheduled to take place on April 28, 2024.

On the same day, by-elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh in the Batken and Kara-Suu single-mandate electoral districts will also be held. These seats became vacant after the Central Election Commission prematurely terminated the powers of Iskender Matraimov and Nurlan Rajabaliyev based on their submitted statements.
