Discovery of Another Illegal Border Tunnel in Suzak District Raises Concerns

Authorities in the Suzak district have uncovered yet another tunnel used for illegal border crossings into Uzbekistan, as reported by the local police department. The tunnel was found in the same village of Bek-Abad by local law enforcement officers, located within a resident's house.

According to the police statement, the tunnel is equipped with electrical lighting and contains everything necessary for illegal border crossings and smuggling activities. An investigation into the matter has been initiated.

The tunnel measures:

- Depth: 12.5 meters

- Length: 350 meters

- Height: 2.20 meters

It leads towards the Namangan region of Uzbekistan. Previously, the State Committee for National Security reported the discovery of another underground passage in the same village leading to Uzbekistan. The man in whose house the tunnel was found has been detained.
