President met with Deputy CEO of China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., highlighting strong bilateral relations. Kyrgyzstan fully backs China's initiative and the construction of the China-Kyrgyzstan-Uzbekistan railway. This project aims to enhance trade cooperation and create new transportation routes connecting China, Central Asia, Europe, and the Persian Gulf.
The railway will be built in the coming years, following a construction-operate-transfer model through a joint project company involving three railway enterprises. Both sides are committed to accelerating the partnership and project implementation procedures. The focus is on expediting feasibility studies, approvals, and agreements to ensure swift realization of the project.
The Deputy CEO emphasized the selection of a highly experienced team to execute the project, drawing on their extensive international project management expertise. This collaboration signifies a significant step towards strengthening regional connectivity and boosting economic cooperation among the involved countries.
