During a meeting of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation, State Structure, Judicial and Legal Issues, and Regulations of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Nurbek Sydygaliev highlighted the significant disparity in prices between state and private notaries. He suggested setting a uniform fee.
"The prices between state and private notaries differ, with private ones being more expensive. Why is that? Can we establish a uniform fee?" the deputy inquired.
Deputy Minister of Justice Orozbek Sydykov responded that the pricing for state notaries is set by the government. "Private notaries are not funded by the state, so they cover their expenses themselves. Therefore, it is not possible to establish a single fee," he noted.
The Deputy Minister added that there are plans to approve a maximum allowable tariff in the future.
