President's Address on the Anniversary of the March People's Revolution

Today, the President addressed the people of Kyrgyzstan on the occasion of the anniversary of the March People's Revolution. Sadyr Japarov highlighted the historical significance of the fight against authoritarianism and corruption in the country's recent history, starting from the Aksy events to a series of popular uprisings in March, April, and finally October.

Japarov emphasized the Kyrgyz people's patience, kindness, and strong sense of justice. He praised the historical choice made by the people on March 24, 2005, punishing those who prioritized personal interests over the nation's.

The President underlined that Kyrgyzstan, in its quest for justice, showed the world that a free life in a sovereign state is true happiness, characterized by fair governance, unity, and development. He urged everyone to learn from such events and remember that true power lies with the people as affirmed by the Constitution.

Japarov stressed the importance of fair governance and unity for a sovereign Kyrgyzstan. He called upon everyone to feel responsible for the country and its future, emphasizing that ignoring the people's concerns would not be forgiven by history.
