First Candidates Declare Intention to Run for Parliament in Osh Constituency No. 7

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has received the first statement of intent to run for deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh in the Osh single-mandate electoral district No. 7. The statement was submitted by Avazbek Abdygaparov through self-nomination.

The nomination of candidates for deputies in the Osh single-mandate electoral district No. 7 will end on March 28.

To recall, on April 28, early elections for a deputy in the Osh single-mandate constituency will take place. The seat became vacant after Aybek Osmonov resigned from his parliamentary duties.

On the same day, early elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh in the Batken and Kara-Suu single-mandate electoral districts will be held. The seats became vacant after the CEC prematurely terminated the powers of Iskender Matraimov and Nurlan Rajabaliyev based on their submitted statements.
