in Politics / Kyrgyzstan - by

President Sadyr Japarov has signed a decree aimed at furthering the development of football in the Kyrgyz Republic until 2034. The main goal of the decree is to create optimal conditions for the mass involvement of different layers of the population in regular football activities, improve the skills of football players, develop professional football, and instill a desire for a healthy lifestyle among youth.

The decree instructs the Cabinet of Ministers, in collaboration with the Kyrgyz Football Union, to prepare and submit for approval a comprehensive National Football Development Program for the years 2024-2034. The development and adoption of this program are seen as the optimal solution to existing problems in this field.

A comprehensive approach will allow for the consideration of all aspects of football development, determine the priority of various activities, allocate powers and responsibilities between the executive authorities of state power and local self-government bodies, involve public organizations, and commercial structures. This approach will enhance the efficiency of program implementation.

The program's objectives include addressing issues related to football development, promoting the active spread of football in society, ensuring access to sports activities for various population groups, and improving the material and technical base.

The systematic implementation of program activities should contribute to strengthening efforts aimed at developing football in the Kyrgyz Republic, combined with increased participation from public and other physical education and sports organizations.
