The municipality of Bishkek has disclosed its plans for renovating the green areas of the capital city. The renovation efforts aim to replace sick and dying trees, shrubs, and other plants with healthy ones, improve the genetic composition and structure of greenery, including elements of landscape redesign.
The first phase of the green area renovation has already commenced along Chui and Aitmatov avenues.
"Bishkekzelenstroy's forestry teams are meticulously preparing for the removal of emergency greenery. Major avenues and streets will be the first to be cleared, as they experience the highest traffic," the municipality shared.
