President Sadyr Japarov recently held a meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to Kyrgyzstan, Andrey Strachko, to commemorate the conclusion of his diplomatic tenure. During the meeting, the president conveyed his appreciation for the ambassador's efforts in enhancing the bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus, acknowledging his active engagement within the diplomatic community and his involvement in charitable initiatives within the nation. Throughout his seven-year tenure, Ambassador Strachko observed significant transformations in Kyrgyzstan, including political and socio-economic reforms geared towards improving the citizens' well-being.
As per the president's press service, Ambassador Strachko highlighted that since his arrival in Kyrgyzstan in 2017, the trade volume between the two countries has nearly doubled, with a noticeable rise in Kyrgyz exports. The Belarusian delegation closely follows the progress in Kyrgyzstan and expresses optimism that the country will continue on its developmental trajectory, aligned with the aspirations of its populace.
