The discussions also highlighted key global issues such as climate change, water resource management, modern challenges, threats, and international security.
A focal point of the meeting was the need to strengthen the role of the Diplomatic Academy as an analytical center for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Additionally, there was a thorough conversation regarding the education and training of future specialists to occupy diplomatic positions within the Ministry. This is crucial to ensure the effective functioning of the Ministry and enhance the international departments of other ministries and agencies in the country.
As part of the initiatives, the meeting also marked the launch of a master's program in international water and environmental diplomacy, along with the inauguration of a computer class for the HWCA project ("Strengthening Higher Education in the Water Sector to Ensure Climate Resilience and Security in Central Asia").
