In the Alamedin District Court of the Chui Region, another session was held regarding the case of journalist Olzhobai Shakir. According to his lawyer Bakyt Avtandil, the defense has submitted an independent expert opinion stating that the video, which led to Olzhobai Shakir's arrest, does not contain any incitement to mass disorder or calls for seizing power. The expert confirmed this conclusion during the court session.

Due to the absence of the investigator and state experts - a linguist and a political scientist, the hearing has been rescheduled for April 9. Olzhobai Shakir was detained on August 23 by the GKNB officers. He is accused of inciting active disobedience to law enforcement officers, mass disorder, and an attempt to seize power.

Previously, Olzhobai Shakir had called on citizens to participate in a protest rally. He planned to organize a protest on August 31 against the transfer of four sanatoriums on Issyk-Kul to Uzbekistan.
