in Politics / Kyrgyzstan - by

Kyrgyzstan is preparing to send humanitarian aid to Kazakhstan, as announced by the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Akylbek Zhaparov, during a session of the Jogorku Kenesh. Following an accident at a thermal power plant in Bishkek, Kazakhstan extended a helping hand to Kyrgyzstan. In return, Kyrgyzstan is now ready to provide aid to Kazakhstan, even if not requested. Zhaparov also expressed gratitude to Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan for their assistance, highlighting the positive diplomatic relations with neighboring countries.

Under the President's directive, a caravan is being prepared, with the Minister of Emergency Situations overseeing the operation. The aid package will include domestic products from Kyrgyzstan. Zhaparov further noted that on April 8, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan will visit Kyrgyzstan.
