During a session at the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Dastan Bekeshev raised concerns about the overcrowded hospitals and exhausted doctors. He specifically addressed the Prime Minister, urging the construction of a new building for Family Medicine Center No. 8, currently operating in a residential building.
Bekeshev emphasized the urgent need for a new center, citing issues with the current outdated infrastructure. Despite previous attempts to secure a land plot through the city administration, no progress has been made, prompting the deputy to seek government intervention in allocating funds for the new facility.
In response, Prime Minister Akylbek Japarov acknowledged the situation as a local budgetary matter and assured that steps would be taken to address the pressing issue.
Mayor of Bishkek, Aybek Junushaliev, pledged to investigate the matter further and take necessary actions to improve the healthcare infrastructure in the region.
