The Bishkek City Court rejected appeals by the Central Election Commission and Shayloobek Atazov against the Administrative Court's decision, which declared Abdurakhman Murtazaliev, a candidate for the Sverdlovsk electoral district in February 2022, as a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh. The judicial panel ruled to uphold the Administrative Court's decision. The court's ruling takes effect upon announcement and can be appealed within three months.
Abdurakhman Murtazaliev stated that he agrees with the City Court judges for maintaining the Administrative Court's decision. He believes justice has prevailed. He added that he has nothing to say to Shayloobek Atazov. "Our president has already told him everything. Let him take responsibility," he said. Abdurakhman Murtazaliev was disqualified from the race due to testimonies of two women, whom he claimed he had no relations with and they were not his campaigners. On March 1, the Administrative Court recognized Abdurakhman Murtazaliev, a candidate for the Sverdlovsk electoral district in February 2022, as a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh.
