The official Baku has handed over to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan representatives of a transnational criminal group that were planning an assassination attempt on the leadership of Kyrgyzstan. The State Committee for National Security (GKNB) reported that five Azerbaijani citizens arrived in Kyrgyzstan on March 20th via the Ak-Jol - highway checkpoint. These individuals had come with the purpose of spreading and strengthening their criminal influence, including criminal ideology, as well as planning a particularly serious crime - a contract killing.
It is worth noting that in Bishkek, five Azerbaijani citizens have been detained, who are members of a transnational criminal group and are involved in a number of illegal activities related to unlawful practices.
