The Director of the Capital Emergency Medicine Center (CEMC), Iskender Shayakhmetov, has announced his intention to take legal action against deputy Zhushupbek Korgonbay Uulu. Shayakhmetov reminded that during a parliamentary session, the deputy accused him of writing off equipment and transferring it to his daughter's private firm.

"These false and unfounded accusations from a high platform are outrageous, and I do not intend to ignore them," stated the head of CEMC. Shayakhmetov clarified that all medical equipment purchased along with ambulances undergoes inventory by the Department of Municipal Property Management of the Bishkek Mayor's Office. CEMC does not handle the process of writing off property. Equipment valued up to 100,000 soms is written off independently by the internal commission, while equipment exceeding 100,000 soms is written off by an extended commission involving deputies of the Bishkek City Council.

In response to similar accusations in the past, deputy Zhogorku Kenesh Nurzhigit Kadyrbekov visited CEMC, spoke with the team, familiarized himself with the situation, and confirmed the baselessness of the allegations. CEMC undergoes annual audits by the Accounts Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic. Allegations have been investigated by the Prosecutor's Office and the State Committee for National Security (GKNB), with no evidence of equipment write-offs or transfers being found.

Shayakhmetov emphasized that the private emergency medical service ceased operations four years ago, and he has not been a founder of LLC "Medical Service" since 2015; the company itself stopped operating on April 1, 2021. On April 3, during a parliamentary session, Zhushupbek Korgonbay Uulu also expressed discontent with the Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beyshenaliev, accusing him of ties to organized crime and corruption.

Following the deputy's statements on March 14, Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beyshenaliev filed a lawsuit in the Leninsky District Court of Bishkek against deputy Zhogorku Kenesh Zhushupbek Korgonbay Uulu for the protection of honor, dignity, and business reputation.
