The German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) handed over computers, laptops, drones, and other essential items to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, particularly crucial for responding to emergencies.
This project is part of the regional initiative on climate and security, "Green Central Asia," led by the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany. Its aim is to improve the management of transboundary climate risks and natural disaster risks in Central Asia.
The project focuses on establishing a regional early warning system for disaster risks based on comprehensive monitoring of the hydrological regime of major water bodies selected within the project framework.
