Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov is scheduled to make an official visit to Kazakhstan on April 18-19, following an invitation from Kazakh leader Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The head of the state administration's foreign policy department, Muratbek Azymbakiev, announced the upcoming visit.
During the visit, President Japarov will engage in bilateral talks with President Tokayev to discuss various aspects of mutual interest and the prospects for the development of Kyrgyz-Kazakh relations. Additionally, the president will participate in the sixth meeting of the High Interstate Council of Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, as well as the unveiling ceremony of a monument to the hero of the Kyrgyz epic "Manas" in Astana.
A series of events are planned in conjunction with the visit, including the Kyrgyzstan-Kazakhstan business forum, a roundtable discussion with elders and creative intellectuals, a Kyrgyz-Kazakh youth forum, and a forum for scientists on "Prospects for the Development of Science in Addressing Current Issues in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan," as highlighted by Muratbek Azymbakiev.
