In the first quarter of 2024, the prosecutor's office prohibited 151 businesses from being inspected by relevant government bodies. This was announced by the Attorney General Kurmankul Zulushev during a meeting at the Jogorku Kenesh. Zulushev stated that in the first quarter, there were 247 requests for inspections of businesses, of which only 96 were approved for valid reasons.
It is worth noting that Sadyr Japarov made amendments to his Decree "On the Introduction of a Temporary Ban (Moratorium) on Inspections of Business Entities" dated January 9, 2024. According to the document, inspections of business entities by state bodies will not be conducted until December 31 of the current year, except for enterprises where a criminal case has been initiated. This measure aims to ensure the economic stability of entrepreneurs and support businesses.
Japarov emphasized that if government representatives arrive for an inspection without any grounds or evidence of economic crimes, individuals can contact him through the presidential administration. Japarov also promised that appropriate measures would be taken in such cases.
