Kazakhstan's leader, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, has awarded the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, with the Order of Dostyk, 1st class - a state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The announcement was made by the state leader's press service.
The award was presented for "a significant contribution to strengthening and developing bilateral relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic."
Sadyr Japarov expressed his gratitude to Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the entire Kazakh people for the high appreciation. He considered the decision to award him with the Order of Dostyk, 1st class as a special respect towards Kyrgyzstan and its people.
The Order of Dostyk, 1st class signifies a high level of political trust, established allied relations, and strategic partnership between the two countries.
Japarov noted that the relations between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan are on the threshold of a new era of development. He expressed readiness to continue working closely and jointly on tasks aimed at strengthening the bonds of brotherhood, good neighborliness, and eternal friendship between the two nations.
