President Japarov has signed a decree to merge the National Institute of Strategic Studies and the Institute of Economic Policy Research into the National Institute of Strategic Initiatives. The aim is to enhance expert analytical support for the President and Prime Minister. The President's Office will transfer an administrative building in Bishkek to the new institute for operational management.
